I use Canva to create ALL of the featured post images for my blog, and always use free pictures to make these.
Here it is, your ultimate list of sites offering brilliant images for you to use on your blog or website.
And the best part? Yep, they’re all free!
Some of these sites do have some rules attached. You might need to link back to the original owner, some you will need to subscribe to their email (free), some have restrictions on how you use them! Read these carefully so you don’t fall victim to plagiarism.
I have listed my top 3 favourite sites that I use regularly for my blog, scroll to the end for the complete list!
My absolute favourite site! This is great for vectors in particular but is my first stop when I’m checking for a specific kind of image. Very good for ‘blogging’ type photos like the ones below. Facebook or email login required.
I use images from this site when I need a landscape or nature shot, which they do particularly well. There is no login required and you can do whatever you want with the pics.
This site is the best for vectors and hand drawn images, and things like flurries/ornaments, the little accents you might add to the corners of an image. Free but you need to credit the creator (like I’ve done for the pictures below as a caption).
